February 17 is National Random Acts of Kindness Day.

Each year, thousands of Americans count on the kindness of others for a second chance at life, the opportunity to heal from an injury or illness, or the chance to see again. Organ, tissue and eye donation is the ultimate act of kindness, so we're celebrating the generosity of those that give the gift of life by doing nice things for members of our community.

The employees of Nebraska Organ Recovery, along with transplant recipients who've benefitted from donation, will be spreading kindness in Omaha, Lincoln, Hastings, Grand Island and Kearney. Join us in our quest to make the world a kinder place and spread awareness about the importance of organ, tissue and eye donation.

Join the Fun

Simple acts of kindness go a long way. Gather your family, get together with your church group, or just go out on your own and do something nice for someone else. We have the tools to get you started.

Do Your Part

You don't have to wear a cape to be a hero. All you need is the desire to help others. Thirty seconds out of your day could mean life or death to someone else. Registering to be a donor is the easiest way you can make a difference.
